Hi I would like to know whether they are any plans of supporting other formats in HCatalog apart from RCFile.
1) Why RCFile Format was given preference over others? 2) How do you import data that is available in CSV file into HCatalog table, as of now it supports only RCFile Format. 3) In what way HCatalog differs from Hive? Please Advice Thanks in Advance Zaki
