Question: Are we billed for incoming and outgoing bandwidth that never leaves our port on the router, e.g. traffic between subdomains that gets bounced off the router (since we use switch operating at Level 2)?
Would the answer change for traffic within the datacenter, e.g. traffic between multiple cabinets leased at the datacenter, that does leave our port on the router but never goes out to the backbone? This is important because we requested a small subdomain and will probably outgrow it before long, and if we need to renumber in larger subdomain to prevent from being billed for traffic between our servers we need to do this ASAP.
