I've ported the dbtool, vmail, setsa, and rlog programs to function as
additional clients of the Domtool 2 server. dbtool has some blanks left
to fill in with the precise actions for creating new databases, since we
haven't yet determined exactly how that will work. (See Davor's e-mail
to this list earlier today.)

I'm unsure of what I should do next. I would like to get the web portal
running on deleuze and make the few small changes needed to adapt it to
our new infrastructure, but that uses a PostgreSQL database, and the
admin who has volunteered to run Postgres (Justin Leitgeb) is away. Any
suggestions? If we're going to use tablespaces for quota purposes as we
do on fyodor (or if we just want to keep the same database version as on
fyodor, to make migration heartache less likely), then we'll need to
figure out exactly how we're going to install Postgres 8.something,
since it's not in Debian stable yet. Perhaps a backport, which I don't
know much about?

If some knowledgeable Debian people figure out how to install a version
of Postgres that we ought to stick with, then perhaps I'll get started
in a more traditional setting, and we can try to adapt the results to
whatever quota-enabling system we come up with eventually.
