The traffic for this should be very, very, low.  Other than that Peer 1 
can handle it as far as I'm concerned if it makes our lives easier.  I 
agree with another email on this list that said that everything should 
have a reverse address in our IP space.  This helps to troubleshoot 
cases more quickly where a server is malfunctioning and you want to 
figure out which one it is through a "dig" or nslookup command, in 
addition to requirements for email.
