I have finished autoconfiscating and debianizing mod_waklog: /afs/megacz.com/pub/mod_waklog/
I would like to set up WebDAV-SSL access for users -- this lets them conveniently manipulate files using Windows Explorer or the Mac OS X Finder. I would also like to set up Filedrawers, a superb web-based file manager which is completely AFS-aware. Both of these packages require mod_waklog. To do this, I propose to install an instance of Apache 1.3 on deleuze (or mire, if people think that's more appropriate), bound to a port other than port 80. Eventually it would be nice to allocate a second IP address to the host it runs on and bind it only to that IP. This instance of Apache 1.3 would be ONLY for providing DAV+Filedrawers access and for no other purposes. Specifically, it would not be for serving user content of any kind. Because of this, it should be totally independent of domtool and would not require teaching domtool about Apache1.3's configuration syntax. Think of it as another kind of sftpd. Let me know how this sounds... - a -- PGP/GPG: 5C9F F366 C9CF 2145 E770 B1B8 EFB1 462D A146 C380 _______________________________________________ HCoop-SysAdmin mailing list [email protected] http://hcoop.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hcoop-sysadmin
