Okay, I've added code to let pts choose the ID and then pass that to
the LDAP stuff.  I also added a "sudo" before ldapadd and fixed the
script so that it will work properly when the pts entries already
exist (ie if a previous creation attempt failed halfway through).

However, do we need to store numeric userids in LDAP?
