Well, you have a password defined in /etc/shadow on mire. I suppose pam_unix is used instead of pam_krb5 to let you in. Since pam_krb5 doesn't come into play, it does not create token and subsequently, pam_openafs_session does not aklog you. (You can also see that 'id megacz_admin' is reporting /home/megacz_admin instead of /afs/... which is another indicator that krb5/ptdb are not used).
