Are these occurring within greymatter structures?  If so, you might see if they are reduced or eliminated with the FIX cleaned datasets that are soon to be released.  If they are not in gray matter, as long as you are processing your data in  the grayordinates space (and not doing things like unconstrained volumetric smoothing), you don't need to be so concerned about stuff outside of the graymatter.   Peace, Matt.
