Hi, Eleftherios,

Sorry you've been running into trouble. I'm looking into it now.

Hello,

I have tried to download the new Q3 structural and diffusion processed data in
Ubuntu 12.04 with aspera 3.3 from firefox and unfortunately the download starts
but it stops after a few seconds. A few days ago I was able to download a few
of the subjects from the same machine.

Tried it also from a different Linux box and had the same problem.

Can you have a look? Any ideas?

Best regards,
Eleftherios

The Human Connectome Project (HCP) is happy to report the release of Diffusion
imaging data for all 215 subjects for which diffusion was collected from
Quarters 1-3 (Q1, Q2, Q3). The release includes all unprocessed and
preprocessed dMRI data for these subjects, some of whom are related. All
unrelated subject groups available for quick download from the splash page at
https://db.humanconnectome.org/ now have complete data for all HCP MRI
modalities.

Improved Image Reconstruction:
The Q1-Q3 dMRI images have been reconstructed using a newer algorithm that
yields significantly sharper images (recon v2). Due to differing noise
(smoothness) properties, the dMRI data available as of this release should not
be mixed in analyses with the dMRI data from the group of 40 unrelated Q1-Q2
subjects released in June 2013, or Q1 subjects released in March 2013, which
were reconstructed with an older reconstruction algorithm (recon v1). Details
on diffusion data collection and processing are available in the HCP Q3 Release
Reference
Manual<http://humanconnectome.org/documentation/Q3/Q3_Release_Reference_Manual.pdf>.

Bug Fix:
This release also fixes a bug in the minimally preprocessed dMRI packages
released in September 2013 and November 2013 that left out a key file (see our
wiki page HCP Data Release Updates: Known Bugs/Missing files and Planned
fixes<https://wiki.humanconnectome.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=29589520>).
If you have previously downloaded or obtained preprocessed Q3 dMRI data via
Connectome In a Box, we recommend generating the missing file per the
instructions on the wiki page or downloading the minimally preprocessed dMRI
data again for subjects relevant to your analyses.

As always, please submit any questions about the data and processing to
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> so that all
may benefit from the discussion.

Best,
The WU-Minn HCP consortium
