Hi all, We're trying to decide which mb sequences to use at our new Prisma, and are looking for advice.
Our options currently are: a- HCP mb bold and diffusion sequences via C2P b- MGH mb bold sequence (http://www.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/software/c2p/sms) via C2P c- Siemens WIP mb diffusion sequence Would there be any reasons to choose the HCP mb sequences over the other mb sequences? We noticed that the HCP sequences have an MB factor that the user can set, but the MGH and Siemens sequences also have an additional "shift" parameter. Why is that ? Do the HCP sequences automatically choose the optimal shift? Also, given the choice of a 20, 32, and 64 channel coil on our Prisma, does anyone have a particular recommendation? We do find the 64-channel is a really tight fit for many subjects, so we’re inclined to use a 32-channel to fit the most subjects. Will mb perform better with the 64-ch coil? Thanks (apologies if this is the wrong forum to ask such questions), Mark _______________________________________________ HCP-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.humanconnectome.org/mailman/listinfo/hcp-users
