Hello Burke,

1) PALS-B12 atlas datasets and spec files are generally in Caret5 format,
whereas Workbench spec files are indeed very different.

2) wb_import -spec-file allows conversion of caret5 spec files and (most) data
files to workbench format.

3) Some of the PALS-B12 atlas parcellations (label files) already exist on the
164k and 32k Conte69 meshes and are accessible (along with other good stuff) in
the Connectome Workbench v 1.0 dataset
(http://www.humanconnectome.org/software/get-connectome-workbench.html)

4) Conversion from PALS-B12 (74k mesh) to Conte69 (164k and/or 32k mesh) can be
handled as described in
http://brainvis.wustl.edu/wiki/index.php/Caret:Atlases:Conte69_Atlas

I hope this helps.
