Dear HCP experts, I am wondering if the processed diffusion data have gone through any quality check or not.
As for our own dti data, we will perform a visual inspection on each volume of each subject's raw image, and remove bad directions, or even the entire subject if it has too many bad directions. It will become a pretty heavy work load if the number of subjects and number of directions are both super high, as the case in HCP data. So we are very leaning to use the processed data if it has gone through any similar or equivalent quality check procedure. If yes, do you mind sharing the QC details? If no, could you let me know the reason why not performing QC?
