1. Generally we concatenate after denoising (also need to remove the mean image first).
  2. You’ll want to use the HCP training data for HCP’s lifespan data.  There is a script hcp_fix that you can use for this.
Peace,

Matt.

Subject: [HCP-Users] Running FIX

Dear HCP experts,

I have few questions regarding the resting state analysis I am doing of the lifespan project:

1) Do we need to concatenate the LR_ and RL_ files before we do denoising or run those separately and concatenate after doing the denoising?

2) I am fairly new to FIX and though I have installed FIX 1.06, matlab compiler, R statistical package and other installation (using README) with others (fortran, tcltk-8.5.5-x11.pkg). I don't know from where to start with the denoising. I have also downloaded standard data to train FIX. My FIX is in the directory /Users/Sampada/Downloads/fix1.06.

I will be very grateful if I can get to learn this technique of denoising.

Thanks and regards,

Sampada
