Hi Rosalia, I hope someone can help with the Aspera issue -- sounds hard!
If you do need both workbench AND caret, then you should not need Aspera to download tutorial data for caret; those are typically zip files available directly on brainvis.wustl.edu or on sumsdb.wustl.edu. Which tutorial do you need for caret? The workbench tutorial data probably does require Aspera, however.
