Thanks. I wasn't sure if the Siemens scanner discarded the same amount of frames for all sequences or if the number of discarded frames was based on when the scanner reached steady state.
In either case, it does seem like at least 12-15 frames should be dropped from the data. With the gambling task, I worry that the large spike in the CSF could be blurred into the adjacent caudate and skew the reward/punishment effects in that region (at least when spatial smoothing is used).
