Dear Felix, > When I was processing the data with the pipeline megconnectome-3.0, I found > that in the function hcp_datacheck, there is a code saying: hsname = > [dirname, '/hs_file']; But I did not find the hs_file in the raw data above. > Because I want to get the same or similiar figure like in the attachment > figure (108323_MEG_3-Restin_datacheck_MEG_powerline_noise.png). No, we cannot help you with this. We did not release the hs_files due to privacy reasons. Thinking about the question behind your question, it is not really clear why these files would help you. I may have misunderstood your question, but for the HCP-data you don’t need to worry about coregistration of the sensors, because that has been done for you by us. If your question on the other hand pertains more generically to the validation of electrode to scalp surface of your own collected data there is little use for subject-specific head surfaces. > Also I have downloaded the preprocessed data, if is it possible to use the > preprocessed data to plot just the electrodes, labels and power on the head > like in the attachment? Again, I am not sure what you are after, but the answer to this question would in general be: yes, it is possible to visualise the sensor level data. In fieldtrip you can use any of the functions ft_databrowser, ft_topoplotER, ft_multiplotER, ft_singleplotER. This in combination with the specification of a sensor layout, as specified for example in the file megconnectome/template/4D248.mat. This latter file was used to generate the picture you attached to your e-mail. To get started with data visualization in fieldtrip, have a look at: http://www.fieldtriptoolbox.org/tutorial/plotting <http://www.fieldtriptoolbox.org/tutorial/plotting> and links therein. Note, also, that looking at topographies of raw time courses of resting state data is usually not that insightful.
