Hi Xavier,

Downloading files directly from the Aspera server in that way would require a
system account on the server, which we don’t support. A couple of other options:

1. Can you access the storage on your cluster from a workstation? If so, you
could download the zipped packages using the Aspera GUI client though
db.humanconnectome.org<http://db.humanconnectome.org> on a workstation and then
transfer them to the cluster storage. Or, you could potentially mount the
storage and set your Aspera client download path to the mount.

2. The other option if the storage is only accessible via command line on the
cluster would be accessing the data over S3. You can gain access to the
hcp-openaccess bucket at db.humanconnectome.org<http://db.humanconnectome.org>
on the home page. You could then drill down to the files you want and get the
data with something like:

$ aws s3 cp --recursive
s3://hcp-openaccess/HCP_1200/100307/unprocessed/3T/rfMRI_REST1_LR
--profile=hilem ~/Downloads/

Best,
Michael
