Hi,
You cannot create a z-stat map from a beta map. We suggest that you use PALM
to compute group-wise statistics from individual subject beta (cope) maps.

Cheers,
-MH

What code are you using to make the beta map?

Matt.

Subject: [HCP-Users] generating z-stat file

Dear experts,

I am trying to threshold a z-statistic task-fMRI dscalar file using the
-cifti-math command.

wb_command -cifti-math ‘(x > 5.0088) + 2 * (x < -5.0088)’ \ outputfile \ input
file

The input file needs to be a z-stat, however, my current script only generates
the beta map file beta.dscalar.nii.

How do I generate the z-stat file? Or is there a way to convert the beta file
to a z-stat file?

My ultimate goal is to find out whether the activation is significant or not,
so I am looking to set a p value threshold or generate some statistics etc.

Thank you in advance!

Best,
Yu
