I have two questions that are probably easy fixes, but I can’t seem to find the
solution.

First, is there a way to change the contrast of the surface renderings? I know
Caret had this as an option in the visualizer under “Surface Miscellaneous",
but I can’t find it in wb_view or any of the associated command line tools.

Second, Ive created a .func.gii by converting a NIFTI using
-volume-to-surface-mapping (and one of the tutorial surfaces) and slightly
edited using -metric-palette. When I overlay this metric onto a surface and try
to change the transparency, the more transparent (closer to 0) I set the
threshold, the more black the overlay becomes, and its completely black with a
transparency of 0. Am I missing a step or need to set my thresholds differently
in the metric palette (than default)?

Any help would be appreciated!

Michael
