From the forum and the HDF docs, I see there is a file-level metadata
cache and also per-dataset caches
If I have 1 HDF5 file that contains global stuff, and I mount 10s to
100s of other HDF5 files as children of the first file... Do I have 1
metadata cache? Or, is there a metadata cache for every actual
filesystem file?
