Naturally, I checked whether or not the arguments to the
H5ScalarDS.read are valid, and from what I can tell they are, i.e.,
they are within range of the dataset dimensions. The main problem is
that the error doesn't occur every time I run the code, but since the
Exception looked super cryptic I was wondering if anyone had an inkling.
