Marco and anyone who is interested in 1.8.6, We are planning to have the next release candidate ready for testing next week. It will contain a fix for the scale+offset filter bug reported on this mailing list two weeks ago. If testing goes smoothly, we hope to release 1.8.6 on February 15.
