There is an H5Fflush function, but it is currently not in HDF5DotNet. But it is 
pretty easy to add. Take a look at H5F.cpp. Duplicate what's done for 
H5F::close, but call H5Fflush instead. You'll need the function, the DllImport 
statement, and the declaration in the header.
