I'm a newbie and want to learn about using HDF how to use it in my C++ program(QT).I downloaded HDF5 SOFTWARE "hdf5-1.8.9-linux-x86_64-shared.tar.gz". I'm using Fedora 17 x64_86.
I installed it in my /home/hdf directory, I set the path using PATH and LD.
