Hello, I finally managed to install HDF5 following this tutorial: http://cdx.jpl.nasa.gov/documents/technical-design/accessing-hdf-data-from-python-on-mac-os-x/
But now I'm stuck with h5py ... In one forumpost I read, I might try following command: python setup.py build --hdf5=<path to hdf5> but where exactly is hdf5 located? within /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib are several files with hdf5 in their names. thanks, Axel
