I'll take a look at it. In the meantime, have you tried doubling up the backslashes (i.e., \\\\server\\share<file:///\\\server\share>, or possibly \\\\server\share<file:///\\\server\share>)? I think we have a "slash-fixer" routine that converts them but I'm not sure if it's smart about the \\server\share<file:///\\server\share> format.
