Jim, how are you? Can you send us an example that demonstrates the problem? As you can see from the source code, the wrapper for H5F.flush doesn't really do much other than calling H5Fflush.

I am using the win x86 and x64 libraries via the dotnet interface. It doesn't matter how I call .flush, but no data is written to disk until I actually "close" the file.
