We're currently using a platform for which pre-built binaries for
HDFView are not available (Solaris-x86) and need to build it ourselves.
I've located the page with links to the source for some of the jar/jni
files here:
http://www.hdfgroup.org/products/java/hdf-java-html/
though the link to HDFView goes to the binaries only (I'm pretty sure
I've seen the source somewhere).
Are there any special instructions for building the package? The binary
installs include a lot of things like scripts, a JVM and so on to make
it run.
