Chris Nauroth resolved HDFS-4685.
---------------------------------

          Resolution: Fixed
    Target Version/s: 2.4.0  (was: 3.0.0, 2.4.0)
        Hadoop Flags: Reviewed

I'm resolving this. All sub-tasks have been completed for inclusion of HDFS
ACLs in release 2.4.0. Several related issues remain open, and I've
tentatively targeted them for 2.5.0:
* HDFS-5621 - NameNode web UI integration
* HDFS-5624 - Test suite for ACLs in combination with viewfs.
* HDFS-5995 - Cleanup of
{{TestFSEditLogLoader#testValidateEditLogWithCorruptBody}}.
* HDFS-6128 - libhdfs API bindings for new ACL APIs.

Thank you again to all of the contributors who participated.

> Currenly hdfs doesn't support Extended file ACL. In unix extended ACL can be
> achieved using getfacl and setfacl utilities. Is there anybody working on
> this feature ?
