Actually I am okay with Hadoop completely depending on Avro once we write all
the protocols in Avro IDL (HDFS-1069). So I have no philosophical issues on
depending on Avro.
BTW when we write the protocols in Avro IDL we will no longer need the
@Nullable; correct?
Q. Doug, Any reason why you didn't define the @Nullable in common?
