Sorry, [~wheat9]. It looks like our comments collided (I didn't see your
comment before committing). Since this was posted 2 days ago, I assumed you
had looked at it. Can we simply file follow-up JIRAs for any issues we find?
P.S. having this in will make it easier for us to work on HDFS-7022 and
HDFS-7023. The output stream stuff has been moved to HDFS-7017 as you asked,
so having this in unblocks that JIRA as well.
