Re. renaming {{pb_vec}}: {{pb_vec}} is the index of the parity whose encoding
function is used in calculating the piggybacks. The suggested alternative name
{{pbIndex}} is fine. If we need a more intuitive/explainatory name, we could
also consider {{pbParityIndex}}.
