Good observations Walter! We've assumed the cell size should be a multiple of 
packet size; it's a great idea to gracefully handle potential misalignments. 

The 005 patch adds the logic Walter suggested. To avoid changing the behavior 
of super class, it overrides the ByteBuffer reader. 

[~jingzhao] Could you take a look and see if it also addresses your earlier 
comments? Thanks!
