Thanks [~zhangyongxyz] for the interest. I have gone through HDFS-8289. IIUC
that is talking about {{HdfsFileStatus#getECSchema}} API but here this jira
talks completely different API {{FileStatus#isErasureCoded()}} which is similar
to {{FileStatus#isEncrypted()}}. I think the scope of these two jira issues are
different. Does this makes sense to you?
