Status: Patch Available (was: Open)
Attached initial patch to add Metrics logs to DataNode which is logged to
NullAppender by default.
[~arpitagarwal], can you have a look at patch as I had to refactor
{{MetricsLoggerTask}} added in HDFS-8880 and changed the test log4j
configuration to use NullAppender by default for NN metric logs also. Is it
fine or I can handle this in seperate JIRA if you suggest so.
