Haohui Mai commented on HDFS-9049:
----------------------------------
Why does it need to be configurable? How does it benefit deployment?
It's by design to avoid port conflicts.
> Make Datanode Netty reverse proxy port to be configurable

> In DatanodeHttpServer.java Netty is used as reverse proxy. But uses random
> port to start with binding to localhost. This port can be made configurable
> for better deployments.
> {code}
> HttpServer2.Builder builder = new HttpServer2.Builder()
> .setName("datanode")
> .setConf(confForInfoServer)
> .setACL(new AccessControlList(conf.get(DFS_ADMIN, " ")))
> .hostName(getHostnameForSpnegoPrincipal(confForInfoServer))
> .addEndpoint(URI.create("http://localhost:0"))
> .setFindPort(true);
> {code}
