Yeah, nice refactoring.
Just wonder if it's a good idea to rename: {{generationStampV1}} =>
{{legacyGenerationStamp}}; {{generationStampV2}} => {{generationStamp}},
similar for other variables, as we have {{legacy block}} and {{block}}.
