I'm gonna make this to be a timeout only trivial fix. Patch 1 updates the
timeout to be nicer. The test runs on my local physical machine in around 20
seconds, so I think 3 mins would be a same guard on the test.
I haven't made much progress on the kerberos related failure. Will create a
separate jira and dig in more.
