Thanks guys for the discussions and the new patch! Sorry I wasn't able to get
to this sooner.
I love the final solution of extracting the year but hard code it in the pom,
so we only have 1 place to change, and without the confusion between
build/release years.
I also created account on the wiki and asked permission to update the
HowToRelease page. Will update that after this change is finalized and
committed.
