Thanks [~brahmareddy], the core change looks fine to me. The test case needs
some more work. The {{failMirrorConnection}} hook looks unused. Also the DN
should be updated to call the hook.
Using close will not exercise the changed code path since the block is
finalized and not invalidated. We probably need to trigger the abandon block
path in DataStreamer to trigger this invalidation as you correctly diagnosed
earlier.
