For the test failures:
* TestBlockScanner passes for me locally
* TestNameNodeMetadataConsistency seems flaky. It failed 1 time out of 10 for
me locally.
* TestOfflineEditsViewer is failing in trunk
[~cmccabe], [~jojochuang]: could you take a look at the latest patch?
