[~elgoiri]/[~chris.douglas], apologize for jumping in late. I looked at it and
have a couple of comments on {{RecordStore}}:
* _version_ attribute should be removed based on our consensus in HDFS-10881.
* I feel the operations are redundant here as they are already part of the
*StateStoreDriver*.
