Hi Sean, thanks for going through all these. I agree that we shouldn't try to
undo the things you mentioned. However, one enhancement is that we can call out
the major items like metrics1 and s3:// removal in the website release notes,
i.e. hadoop-project/src/site/markdown/index.md.vm. If you post a patch, I can
quickly review.
