Pre-commit for the new run is at
https://builds.apache.org/job/PreCommit-hdfs-Build/21686/. Emailed common-dev
about branch-2.7 failures at 'H9 build slave is bad', but no clear solution
yet.
This fix is test only and I manually verified the fixed test passing on
branch-2.7, committing patch 2.
