[~ajayydv], unfortunately, the FileChecksumHelper always swallows the exception 
inside checksumBlock in favor of just logging the possibly datanode-specific 
exceptions and returning false if "all" datanodes failed:

So when I add the expected message, the test fails because the top-level only 
gets a generic "Fail to get block MD5" exception without any causal chain. The 
better way to propagate these exceptions would be to collect causal exceptions 
into a list in each call to tryDatanode, and then at the top-level if 
checksumBlock returned false, then when throwing the top-level exception then 
the cause(s) can be attached properly to the exception.

That said, that particular logic chain is specific to the legacy MD5CRC code 
rather than the new CRC stuff, so maybe it would be better done as a separate 
Jira along the lines of "Make FileChecksumHelper propagate per-datanode 
exceptions as part of top-level exception when all datanode attempts fail"

I'd also be happy to add it in this patch, but I don't know if it's getting too 
unwieldy for reviewers; please let me know which would be preferred.
