Apparently, branch-2 doesn't have {{HdfsFileStatus#isDirectory()}} (or
{{isFile()}}) so I'm committing an addendum
[^HDFS-13250.000-addendum-branch-2.patch] for this fix to branch-2 and
branch-2.9
