As mentioned in the class annotation, it is {{private and unstable}} and most
likely it will change in HDFS-12597.
*Please don't* reach out through reflection in hadoop classes marked as Private
and Stable.
Already we had one case (HDFS-11689) where hive was reaching out to hadoop
private methods.
