Hi [~ehiggs], thanks for posting the new patch. Quick question – can we move
the refactoring of {{TestInMemoryLevelDBAliasMapClient}} to a different JIRA?
It doesn't have to be a part of this one.{quote}
Done. I kept the fix where we use NetUtils to find an available port to make
sure tests are more robust.

- Remove variable renames from {{TestInMemoryLevelDBAliasMapClient}} because it
obscures the patch intent and makes it more difficult to review than it needs
to be.

> When updating the BlockAliasMap we may need to deal with deleted blocks.
> Otherwise the BlockAliasMap will grow indefinitely(!).
> Therefore, the BlockAliasMap.Writer needs a method for removing blocks.
