Thanks, [~ayushtkn] for reporting and working on this issue.
But I think we already have these functionalities as part of "update" cmd and
we also have Jira [HDFS-13853|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-13853]
to correct the functionality of update command.
I think this will be redundant.
[~elgoiri], [~brahmareddy] any opinion on this?
