Is this also going to be developed for trunk? I am -1 for committing this to a
branch until it is also committed to trunk. I am -0 on committing this version
of the patch to trunk when there are patches that have been pending review for
months working towards the unix-socket based method that avoids the hack of
allowing the hbase user to access all block files directly.
